Slowly, but surely....

I worked in my classroom again today.  I was able to get 2 more bulletin boards done.  I still feel like everything is messy and not ready.  Tomorrow I am excited to meet with our new assistant to show her around.  I know she is going to be great.  I am hoping that we get our class rolls soon so that I can start putting names on everything. 

Operation Clean Classroom

So, today I worked in my classroom most of the day.  My goal was to get all cabinets cleaned out and organized.  I had 3 large bags of trash to put in the hall!  Goal accomplished!  Now, I get to move on to my favorite part.....decorating!  I am still trying to decide what I want my hallway bulletin board to be.  Right now I am leaning toward "Super Stars." 

My first post ever

Here I am!  I can't believe I am doing this.  I have wanted to blog for a while, but have just not ever found the time.  However, this summer is much less hectic than last summer (i.e. moving, taking statistics), so I thought I would give it a shot.  My goal for this blog is to document my life as a teacher and also to share ideas with fellow teachers.  I hope I can figure out how to change my background to something cutesy pootsy!
